| Review: FlashPlayer Plus is a simple-to-use application that allows you to play and manage Flash Video files (SWF, EXE). It can be used even by less experienced individuals. The interface of the tool is uncomplicated and intuitive. Video clips can be added via the file browser, drag and drop method or by using the Explorer-based layout. So, you can use basic media player functions, such as pause and stop, navigate back and forth within the clip, go to the previous or next segment, as well as enable loop mode. In addition, you can create a favorites list and playlist, use a search function, switch to full screen mode and take snapshots. But you can also zoom in and out, change the video quality and scale mode (no border, exact fit, no scale), convert SWF and EXE files, as well as create Flash screensavers, download Flash items from the Internet, move, cut and copy items. Another feature called Flash Desktop allows you to create wallpapers from SWF and EXE files, by specifying the appearance mode (stretch to fill on, keep size and center) and by making other adjustments (e.g. select quality, enable auto play, background image, edit title text). From the Options area you can set FlashPlayer Plus to move items to the Recycle Bin when deleting them, specify the default path for Favorites, disable movie autoplay, make the app overwrite existing files and remove the original ones, as well as integrate FlashPlayer Plus into the shell. The program needs a very high amount of CPU and system memory, has a good response time and contains users guide. We have not come across any error dialogs throughout our testing and FlashPlayer Plus did not freeze or crash. No recent updates have been made. |
