| Review: Photo Effects is an application which allows you to immediately apply special effects to your images. The program interface is very simple. You can import images using the file browser (drag-and-drop method and batch processing not supported). So, you can add artistic, paint, lighting, traditional and distorting effects, as well as focus on the entire image, only the edges of the top, and so on. You can, however, add decorations, such as the effects of (set the width and depth of the relief), just the border (set width, height, thickness), the original frames, edge effects (set the size of the shadow and the shadow blur) and artistic frames (Frame size series). Additionally, you can choose the method composition, and possibly allow for rounded corners, shadows and glowing, and select a background, choose a solid color or gradient. In addition, you can view the results before, zoom in and out images, change to full screen mode and use cut, copy, and paste tools. In addition, you can cancel all of the images, add text, adjust the brightness, contrast and color, size, or crop the image, and convert it into BMP, GIF, JPEG, PNG, or TIFF format. The program uses moderate or large number of system resources, and it contains well-crafted help file samples. We have not encountered any problems during the testing. However, the effect does not provide users with any kind of professional effects. Generally, we recommend a program for beginners. |
