| Review: Transposer is a lightweight and simple-to-use software application which enables you to raise or lower the pitch of any audio track without making any modifications to the tempo. It supports only the MP3 and WMA extensions; the tools features can be seamlessly figured out, even by inexperienced users. The interface of the application is based on a small window and an uncomplicated layout. Loading an audio track into the working environment can be done by using only the file browser, since the drag and drop method is not supported. Unfortunately, you cannot process multiple items at the same time. So, you can preview the track in a built-in audio player and transpose the semitones by writing a new values or by pressing two arrow-like buttons. Evidently, you can listen to the new song in the audio player. Unfortunately, the shareware version of Transposer does not allow you to save files, so we cannot accurately evaluate this app. It needs a low-to-moderate amount of CPU and system memory, and has a good response time. No error dialogs have been displayed during our testing and Transposer did not freeze or crash. The app has not received updated for a very long time. Otherwise, Transposer is oriented toward users of any experience level. |
