| Review: Online TVx is a program that comes in handy when you want to watch TV or listen to radio online, from all over the world, without the need of external tools. The interface of the tool is attractive and easy to navigate through. You can check out a list of all available channels, but you can also sort them according to their category and country of origin. In addition, you can use a search function, create a favorites list, take snapshots and share them online via Facebook, adjust the volume of the clip and switch to full screen mode. Moreover, you can invite your Friends to watch TV via Facebook, change the interface language, enable Online TVx to automatically run at system startup and to look for updates online, protect the adult channels with a password, and others. The software takes up a moderate-to-high amount of system resources, provides short descriptions for each main function and didn freeze, crash or pop up errors during our tests. The image and sound quality of the channels is generally good. As we expected, not all channels displayed here are functional. Also, the demo has some severe limitations and you cannot record stream, which would probably be one of the key aspects of Online TVx. Nevertheless, it is simple to use and we recommend it to individuals of all levels. |
